In Gedo and Jubaland today, our people face three enemies at once — Ethiopia, Kenya, and Al‑Shabaab.
While Al‑Shabaab keeps causing destruction, Ethiopia and Kenya are busy playing politics in our border towns, pushing their own control, as if Somalia is theirs to divide.

Ahmed Madoobe has been sitting in Kismayo for nearly 15 years. In all that time, he never led a real fight against Al‑Shabaab. Now, with the help of Ethiopia and Kenya, he wants to grab Gedo using Ethiopian and Kenyan. This is not leadership it is foreign agent setting our land.

To my Somali brothers and sisters in Gedo and Jubaland: don’t surrender your land. Look at Gaza — even under siege, they never give up. We must have the same spirit die with dignity.

If Ethiopia and Kenya do not respect Somalia’s borders, then Somalia should stop respecting them. Our land is not for trade, not for compromise.

The Federal Government must speak clearly:

  • Are we really fighting Ethiopia, Kenya, and Al‑Shabaab at the same time?
  • Or is there another plan to protect Gedo and all of Jubaland?

We need answers — not speeches.

Defending Gedo is defending Somalia. Lose one piece, and we lose the whole. The choice is simple:
Stand and protect your home, or let others take it forever.

History will remember what we do now.

Never surrender. Be Somali forever.
