$21 Million Missing from Government Treasury, Auditor General Reports.

In a shocking revelation during an audit investigation, Auditor General @AIGutale disclosed that $21 million had gone missing from government officials between March 2018 and April 2023. In a startling development amid the heated election season, Auditor General @AIGutale announced today a major corruption scandal involving the disappearance of $21 million from the government treasury. The revelation came to light during a comprehensive financial audit investigation from March 2018 to April 2023.

According to the Auditor General’s report, the missing funds were identified during routine audits conducted across various government departments. The investigation uncovered discrepancies indicating that the $21 million intended for the government treasury had not been deposited as mandated by financial protocols.

Auditor General @AIGutale stated during a press conference earlier today that this is a grave breach of trust and financial mismanagement. Our audit findings point to systemic issues that require immediate corrective action.

Government officials have pledged to cooperate fully with ongoing investigations and ensure that all implicated parties are held accountable. The Ministry of Finance has assured the public of its commitment to implementing robust measures to prevent such incidents from recurring.
